Additionally, we explored the sawatch range, Sangre de Cristos, and Front Range, all of which are equally beautiful.

For those looking for an easier hike, the Indian Peaks Wilderness in the Front Range is an excellent choice. This area is easily accessible from Boulder or Denver. One of the particularly nice hikes is to the Isabelle Glacier within the Brainard Lakes Recreation Area.
