From Street to Drone: My Journey Through Photography
I see a theatre take place everyday on the streets, and I love to use my phone camera to the fullest. If you ask me which genre has been my “A1” since Day 1, I'd say the streets. Honestly, I'm still working on my portrait skills, but the streets offer so much more. The colours, the activities, and the endless stories that unfold every day. You don't need a special occasion to pick up a camera, if you've got the eye for it, you won't miss a thing!
The Power of Street Photography
There are interesting things about the streets that set them apart. They allow you to explore a community and their culture. In India, you'll see similar activities everywhere, but there are specific places and events that make each unique—whether it's a food festival or a community celebration.
I love the spontaneity you can capture on the streets. Practicing street photography has helped me become more observant, walk more, and venture into places I've never been before. I can now find beauty in things I never noticed before. Our personal perspective can often lead us to see aesthetics in unexpected places.
Storytelling Through Frames
We can sense a story in everything we see, and weaving these stories through our frames is something photography thrives on. We prioritize perception and try to capture the essence of moments that resonate with us. I genuinely admire street photographers who have overcome their inhibitions to capture thought-provoking images with confidence.
Forging this gateway, it's not just about capturing; it's about experiencing the world around us in a more meaningful way. I still have a long way to go, but I'm learning to break down those inhibitions one frame at a time.
Dive into Drone Photography
Looking ahead, I'm also passionate about drone photography. My work has been featured on EditMaster Studios, an Instagram handle that showcases the best of my aerial photography.
Landscape Photography: Capturing the Beauty of Nature
In addition to street and drone photography, landscape photography holds a special place in my heart. Nature's beauty is not only timeless but also awe-inspiring. Just as I admire the intricate details of city streets, I marvel at the vastness of nature. Whether it's capturing the serene beauty of natural landscapes or the grandeur of space, there's a deep sense of pride in preserving these moments.
I also love monumental photography, as it allows me to connect with history and the people who have built these landmarks. It's fascinating to delve into the stories behind these structures and how they've shaped our world.
Thank you for taking the time to read, and let's keep exploring the world through the lens together.
Cheers!
