Experiencing Mangalore: A Foreigner's Perspective
I have had the opportunity to live in Mangalore twice, in 2014 for two months and in 2016 for three months. Despite the relatively short duration of my stays, these experiences provided me with a rich and detailed understanding of the city. Living and Working at Infosys SEZ Campus
As an employee of Infosys, both my stints in Mangalore were centered around the Infosys SEZ Campus near Mudipu. One of the must-visit spots in Mangalore is Panambur Beach, located about 10 kilometers from the central city. The public transport system in Mangalore has seen improvements in recent years. While traditional transport buses lack windows and doors for a semblance of breeze, the newer fleet of buses offers a more conventional and comfortable ride.
