Accountability and Responsibility: Reflections on a Lifewell Spent

Accountability and Responsibility: Reflections on a Life Well Spent

At 75 years old, I've found that my felt obligations have narrowed down to a few core principles: God, maintaining my health, a fair degree of physical fitness, and, of course, being present for the needs of my family. Without these, the third would be unfeasible. And no matter how you break it down, it always comes down to 'myself.' This, it has always been.

Being Accountable for Loved Ones

My life has revolved around living up to the honor of being married to my dear and inspiring spouse for 52 years. I take this seriously because any position, whether it's influencing my wife or my daughter, brings a significant level of responsibility. Every position I hold is not just a responsibility but a chance to create attention or even opposition.

When I started a position, I saw how it could flow into a mass message, driven by material interests. These interests drive the economy, especially when it comes to contraception pills, a significant economic driver for Big Pharma. Influencers and the alleged 'feminazi' group gain from the economic empowerment of women through contraceptives. This empowerment, however, can have unintended consequences.

The Shift in Values

As a result of these influences, women have become more assertive in their ego and less heart-centered. Simultaneously, men have become less accountable for their egos, less driven by their backbone. A heart-centered man is attracted to a woman's heart, not just her ego. A woman's respect for her father correlates directly with her respect for her mate; hence, he can adore her without needing to compete with her.

The Roles of Heart and Ego

Ego, which is about competition, always seeks to devalue and break down others for its own gain. Conversely, heart, which is about unity, trust, and love, seeks to unite people and foster a value system. Feminine heart-centered values are the source of love for men because a man lives to provide and protect the heart of a woman. His value in opening his heart relies on her humble heart.

Telling It Like It Is

To tell it as it is rather than to 'powder coat' it and blend in is crucial in understanding these dynamics. It's about being honest and direct, highlighting the complexities and challenges we face as individuals and as a society. It means acknowledging the shifts in values and the roles that different societal influences play in shaping our lives.

Conclusion

My reflections on a life well lived underscore the importance of accountability, responsibility, and living with integrity. Whether it's toward my loved ones or my commitments to society, maintaining these principles is paramount. It is a tribute to my lifelong dedication and a guide for others to follow in their own journeys.
